C. Tetrachloride became a firefighter in 1910 and worked as one until the 1960s when she used her heavy vapours to suffocate the flames. She hired her cousin Trichloroethylene and sister Chloroform as her assistants to work in cold weather as cold weather stopped her vapours. She was forced to retire because the phosgene from the decomposition of her vapours killed many humans during duty and C. Tetrachloride was replaced by Halons who worked more safely.
