Humans noticed Carbon Tetrachloride's homicidal potential as early as the 1900s when she was working as a hairdresser but no one took any action since she had already gained humans' trust. She had killed many humans during duty and this led to the US government retiring her from all close-contact work with humans in 1970, this was "the beginning of the end" for her. Until 1986, C. Tetrachloride worked in agriculture together with her father C. Disulphide. In 1987, humans discovered that she had committed "crimes against the ozone layer", she was banned from doing any work after an order by humans. After 1987, she was not allowed outside ever and was kicked out of The Council. C. Tetrachloride survived the 1996 Halocarbon executions which her refrigeration consultant son Trichlorofluoromethane did not. Her other children Chlorotrifluoromethane and Dichlorodifluoromethane were only warned and retired.
