Acetaldehyde (Ace Allegra) is the second aldehyde after Formaldehyde. She's Ethanol's daughter, Acetic Acid's mother.

Acetaldehyde is at least 240 years old. Her previous name was "Aldehyde" which was altered to "Acetaldehyde" years later.

She loves drinking beer and annoying other chemicals. Acetaldehyde especially loves to attack Acetone, Ethyl Acetate, Diethyl Ether, MEK and THF for fun. She says that she would 'beat the shit out' of Diisopropyl Ether if DIPE was still there.
