Miaverse (stylised as MIAVERSE) is a comic about people's encounters with Hypothermia and Hyperthermia. People who had such encounters try to contact each other and try to find "Mia" and "Mer". The name is a portmanteau of "-mia" (from the last 3 letters of hyperthermia and hypothermia) and "verse" (from universe). The first episode was released on 2 February 2022 on Webtoon. It was discontinued after the drafts of the supposed third chapter were made in summer 2022.

The comic might be remade under the name Mesothermia in the future (who knows?).

The first episode is split into two parts:

  • 1.1 Ivy's Encounter I prologue, released on 2 February 2022[1]
  • 1.2 Ivy's Encounter II
  • 2 HEAT STROKES, unfinished draft released on 15 December 2022 [2]

Anna Ivy Way

Anna Olivia "Ivy" Way first encountered Hypothermia at age of 8. On the Christmas of 2009, she wrote a letter to Santa. Way thought that she would be late to send the letter when her parents wake up, so she went outside alone. The weather was harsh with temperatures below -25 degrees Celsius. Way dropped her letter and it flew away from her, she ran to grab it, she tripped and fell. Ivy Way suffered from hypothermia while lying on frozen snow. She suddenly woke up and saw Mia with letter.

Julia and David Way

Julia Way is Anna's mother, David Way is Ivy's father. Both are from Britain and moved to Fernia in 1997.

Maximilian Laurence

Maximilian Laurence(born in 1980 - died in 2018) was a Fernian-British firefighter who was a member of the rescue team that saved Anna Ivy Way in the winter of 2009 in Fernia. He spent his last years to contact Ivy Way about their encounters with Mia. Laurence never got the chance to talk to Way. Laurence has a younger sister named Alex Grace and both lived in their grandmother's house in Fernia.
