The Solvent Council consists of Solvents from various Chemical families. The current Main members are Methanol, Ethanol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetone, Ethyl Acetate, Diethyl Ether, Hexane , Toluene, Dichloromethane and Chloroform. Supporting members are Heptane, Cyclohexane, Methyl Acetate, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Glycerin, Tetrahydrofuran and Dimethylformamide.

Previous members were Benzene, Carbon Disulphide and Carbon Tetrachloride; all three were removed due their disputes with the safety of humans.

"The Council" may refer to other councils of other classes of Chemicals, but The Solvent Council is the highest tier council because of their close relationships with humans and many other classes of Chemicals.
